Privacy Policy

Astro44 is a Vedic astrology and guidance app for Android, operated by Evizen AI ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information Astro44 collects, why, who processes it, how long it is kept and how you can delete it. Astro44 is only for people aged 18 and over.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your Google account's email address, name and a Google account identifier, and create an Astro44 account identifier. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Birth profile. The name you give, your date and time of birth (or that the time is unknown), your place of birth (city and its coordinates and time zone, chosen from our place list) and the gender you choose for grammatical purposes.
Astrology data we calculate. Your Kundli (birth chart), dashas, transits and Panchang details, calculated by our own software from your birth profile.
Readings and timeline. The personalised readings, Astro Timeline entries and Chakra Insights we prepare for you, and your answers to the Chakra questionnaire.
Conversations with Astro44 Advisors. The messages you send, the replies, a short summary of longer conversations, and short notes Astro44 remembers from what you choose to share (for example, a life event you mention) so later answers stay consistent. Notes about health, caste, religion, money amounts and similar sensitive details are not stored.
Palm, foot and face photos. If you use Palm Reading, Foot Reading or Face Reading, the photo you choose. Before storage we remove all metadata (including location/GPS and camera details) and resize it. The photo is kept privately only to prepare your reading and is deleted automatically right after the reading is prepared, within one hour if a reading cannot be completed, and in every case within 24 hours. We keep only the written reading and the outline and line positions derived from the photo (numbers used to draw your reading map), never the photo, and no thumbnails. Face Reading reads the shape and proportions of the face in the traditional way only: it does not identify you or anyone else, does not create a face template or any biometric identifier, and never compares faces.
Compatibility. If you use Compatibility (Kundli matching), the name, date, time and place of birth you enter for the other person, and the relation you choose. Only enter details you are allowed to use. They are used for that match and are not kept unless you choose to save them; you can remove saved people and delete matches at any time. We never ask for the other person's email, phone number or account.
Purchases. If you buy a one-time unlock (or, once it becomes available, an Astro44 Premium monthly subscription), Google Play processes the payment. For a subscription we also receive its status and its renewal and expiry dates from Google. We receive from Google the product, purchase status, order identifier and the amount charged. We never receive your card, UPI or bank details. Purchase tokens are stored only in encrypted or hashed form.
Reports and support. If you report a reading or reply, the report reason. If you contact us, your message and email address.
Technical information. App version, request identifiers, error and security logs, and usage metrics needed to run the service (for example, how long a reading took). We do not use advertising identifiers and Astro44 shows no ads.
Usage analytics. Simple events about how Astro44 is used, such as that a reading was prepared, a screen was opened or a notification was opened, with the app version and fixed categories (for example, which reading type or which advisor). They never contain your birth details, messages, readings, photos, anything you type or anything about another person. We use them only ourselves, to improve Astro44, and no third-party analytics or advertising service is involved.
Notifications. If you turn on notifications (in app versions that offer them), a push token for your phone issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging, your phone's time zone (so reminders arrive at the time you chose) and your notification choices. Notifications contain only fixed text such as "Your Daily Guidance is ready", never your birth details, readings or messages.
Crash reports. If crash reporting is switched on for your app version, technical error reports (error type, app version, device model and Android version) so we can fix problems. They exclude your birth details, messages, readings, photos and account details.

2. How we use information

To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
To calculate your Kundli and prepare readings, the Astro Timeline, Chakra Insights, Compatibility and Palm, Foot and Face readings.
To run Astro44 Advisor conversations and remember the context you shared.
To verify purchases with Google Play, unlock what you bought and show your purchase history.
To keep the service reliable and safe: preventing abuse, investigating errors and reports.
To send the notifications you turned on, and to understand which features are used so we can improve them.

We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your photos, conversations or birth details to train any model.

3. Automated generation of readings and replies

Readings, Advisor replies, Compatibility interpretations and Palm, Foot and Face readings are written by an automated language-generation service that we access through OpenRouter, which routes each request to a model provider. To prepare a reading or reply we send the relevant calculated chart facts and, for conversations, the messages and notes needed for context. We do not send your name, email, account identifier, or your date, time or place of birth. For Palm, Foot and Face readings we send only the cleaned photo and the instructions, never your Kundli or identity. For Compatibility we send only the calculated matching results for both charts, never either person's name or date, time or place of birth. For Chakra Insights we send only the scores calculated from your answers, never the answers. These providers process the data to return a response; they may process it outside India. Astro44 guidance is traditional and symbolic, for reflection only, and is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.

4. Who processes your information

Supabase (database, sign-in and private photo storage; hosted in Mumbai, India).
Google Cloud (the Astro44 server; Mumbai, India) and Google (Google Sign-In and Google Play billing).
OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to (automated generation, as described above).
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (delivering the notifications you turn on).
Sentry (error reports, only if crash reporting is switched on).

Each processes information only to provide its service to us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

5. How long we keep information

Palm, foot and face photos: deleted after processing, at most 24 hours after upload.
Account, birth profile, readings, compatibility matches, saved people, conversations, notes and Chakra answers: until you delete them or your account.
Purchase records: kept for accounting and tax purposes after account deletion, but de-identified (no link to you or your account).
Technical logs: for a limited period for security and reliability.
Usage analytics: up to 400 days; on account deletion they are de-identified (no link to you).
Push tokens: switched off when you sign out, deleted with your account, and removed after a long period of inactivity.

6. Your choices and rights

Edit your birth details at any time in Profile → Birth details.
Notifications are off until you turn them on; change them in Profile → Notifications or in your phone's settings.
Delete individual Palm, Foot, Face, Chakra and Compatibility readings, and saved people, in the app.
Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or on the web at https://astro44-api-108780788296.asia-south1.run.app/account/delete, without needing the app. Deletion removes your account, birth profile, readings, conversations, notes, photos and purchase history in Astro44; de-identified accounting records of purchases remain as described above.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Each user's data is isolated by database access rules, photos are kept in a private store reachable only by our server, and purchase tokens are hashed or encrypted. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

Astro44 is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has used Astro44, contact us and we will delete the account.

9. Changes

We will update this page and its version when this policy changes, and ask for your agreement in the app when the change is material.
